Shanel (Nelly) Amanda Hicks, Born September 24, 1984 and was recently returned home to her parents Christine W Hicks and Stacie W Hicks on Monday, December 13, 2021 at the age of 37

Nelly enjoyed camping, boating and anything outdoors. She loved winter and snowboarding but hated being cold. She loved to make jewelry out of anything she could find. She was very spiritual and loved when the full moon lit up the sky and you could see the stars light up her eyes. She love the lightning and the sound of thunder. She loved game nights and making crafts with her kids she loved singing and dancing her heart out to the music she loved. She was always her kids biggest supporter and was never afraid to be the loudest one in the crowd. She was always helping out anyone she possibly could, even when she didn’t have anything she still made sure everyone else had everything!

Shanel lives on through her children, Tierra Boney (Antonio), Justice Boney (Jessica), Shaelee Hicks (Calista), Jaden Burton an Jr Burton; Sisters: Raquel Hicks-Fowers (Jesse), Dottie Simmons-Mendoza (Shay), Stephanie Carlson (Vain). Brother: T.C. Boney (Angela), Mother-in-law Teresa Boney, Father-in-law Tom Boney, and Grandfather, Don Stockton.

Shanel is preceded in death by Stacie W Hicks, Christine W Hicks, T.J. Boney, Donna M Stockton, Anaya Boney, Troy Fowers, Lindsey Rice, and many more.

Graveside Service will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:30 am at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
