Sharon Ellsworth
1935 - 2015

Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed peacefully on August 19, 2015. Sharon was born on November 11, 1935, to Lawrence R. and Lucille Child in Ogden, Utah.  There were six siblings and she was the oldest girl.

She married Ernest Ellsworth in 1954, which they later solemnized in the Logan temple.

She lived most of her life in the Clearfield/Ogden area, however, she traveled with her husband as his work took them to different areas of the country. While away from home she always missed her family and friends.
She was a loving and giving person and always helped anyone in need. Family and friends meant the world to her and if anyone needed advice or just someone to talk to she welcomed them with open arms.

She was a homemaker for most of her life, at one time owned and operated a day care. She loved to read, tell stories and was always there if you needed someone to listen.

Sharon is survived by a son and a daughter, Carlos Ellsworth and Bonnie (Kerry) Fuit. She has 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by a sister, Kay Hooper and two brothers, Roscoe (Marilyn) Child and David (Lisa) Hardinger.

Preceded in death are her husband, her parents and two sisters (Mary Moore and Lois Crowley).

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Rocky Mountain Care and Rocky Mountain Hospice for the wonderful care and love they showed her.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2015  at the Clearfield City Cemetery at 11 am. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at Aaron’s Mortuary, 1050 S State Street, Clearfield, Utah.
