Shawnee Jane Ross, 56, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at McKay-Dee Hospital, from injuries sustained in an auto-pedestrian accident. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.
Shawnee was born on August 19, 1958 in Ogden, Utah. A Daughter of Elwin and Jane Ross. She was raised in Hooper, Utah.
She married Tom Fitzwater in 1975, together they had five children; they later divorced. She married Scott Freestone in 1988, together they had one son; they later divorced.
Shawnee was a wonderful cook and enjoyed gardening. She was happiest when she was helping others. Her smiling face, blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes is the image she should be remembered by. Our Beautiful Mom, Grandma, Daughter, Sister and Aunt Is finally at peace In the arms of her Heavenly Father.
She is survived by five of her children, Cal Fitzwater, Mistee (Nick) Taylor, KayDee (Todd) Fowers, Cristel (Chad) Romero and Cole Freestone. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren;, 6 Siblings;, her Mom, Jane Webb and her Mom, Norma Jean Ross.
She is preceded in death by her Daughter, Amee Row; her Father, Elwin Ross; her Step-Father, Burton Webb and her Grandparents.
Her children would like to thank the many family members and friends who have offered their love and support.
A viewing will be held Sunday evening, January 25, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. Graveside Services will be held. Monday, January 26, 2015 at 11 am at the Hooper Cemetery, 5340 S 6300 W, Hooper, Utah.
