Sherma (Spencer) Hicks

Sherma was born in Layton, Utah to Alfred John Spencer and Norma L. Carlos.

Sherma married Jimmy R. Hicks in 1963, and she is survived by three sons, Shawn J. (Jamee) Hicks of Layton, Kent (Jennifer) McGhie, Scott McGhie both of Las Vegas; a brother, Howard (LaRae) Spencer of Monticello; a sister, Shauna (Gene) Seguin of Layton; and many loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, as well as many loving friends that she held dear to her heart.

A Celebration-of-Life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2 pm at 1446 North 2100 West in Layton.

And come in the shade of the evening,

When the sun paints the sky in the West,

Come stand for a moment beside me,

And remember only my best."
