My beloved grandma, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, passed peacefully on June 7, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was a selfless woman who would give everything she had so that no one she loved went without.
She loved with her whole heart, she was passionate and caring, very witty too. She was a model in her younger years, at the age of 40.
She earned her degree in accounting and started her career at Hill AFB retiring at the age of 65.
She was such an inspiration and overcame so much and stood strong on her own two feet.
She loved flowers and was passionate about cats – we would call her the cat whisperer.
She loved her family and made sure we all knew just how much.
Sherrol had one daughter, Julie and husband Joe; 3 grandchildren; and her brother, Brent and his wife, Linda; sister-in-law, Pam Major.
Fly high my sweet grandma, this is not goodbye, this is I’ll see you later.
Time to Go---
Pardon me doctor, but may I die
I know your oath requires you to try to keep me alive so long as my body is warm and there is breath of life in me. But listen, Doc, I’ve buried my wife, my children are grown and on their own. My friends are all gone and I want to go too. No mortal man should keep me here when the call from Him is unmistakably clear. I deserve the right to slip quietly away. My work is done and I am tired. Your motives are noble, but now I pray. You can read in my eyes what my lips can’t say. Listen to my heart, you’ll hear it cry, Pardon me Doc, but May I die.
