Steiner Neil Johnson

Steiner Neil Johnson, 73, our dearly loved brother, father & grandfather, passed away Sunday June 10, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born June 23, 1938 in Annabelle, Utah the son of George Steiner and Ila Nebeker Johnson. He married Patricia Joan Vaughan Aug. 18, 1958. They were sealed in the L.A. LDS Temple Jan. 18, 1967.

Neil worked in the Commercial Carpet Industry for 45 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading poetry, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by Pat, and their daughters Lianne Jex (Keith), Cathy Taylor, Karen Dixon (Wade), son-in-law John McKenna (Brooke), 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Rodney B. Johnson and sister Carol Jeanne East.

Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lori McKenna, and three granddaughters, Stephanie, Stacy and Mahalia McKenna.

A viewing where friends may visit will be held at 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 4195 So. 6000 West. The funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, and Interment will be at12:00 noon, Valley View Memorial Park, WVC.
