Our loving husband, father, and grandfather, returned to his Heavenly Father on Dec 7, 2022, due to
complications from dementia.
Born in Seattle, WA, Steve spent his career working in public utilities, and retired as a customer service
manager.
Steve was sealed for time and eternity, to his sweetheart Kazuko Sasaki, on Dec 16, 1989, at the Jordan
River Utah Temple. Steve served in numerous church callings throughout his life and especially loved
serving a mission at Temple Square with Kazuko.
Steve is survived by his wife Kazuko, and five children from his previous marriage, Rick (Mary), Tamee
(Rob), Jeff, Christie (Chad), Mike (Leanne); 14 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Steve was
preceded in death by his brother Wally, and his mother Eleanor.
His family would like to thank his many caregivers and especially his hospice nurse Angie, for the loving
and excellent care they provided in his final days.
An open house to celebrate Steve, will be held on Friday, Dec 16, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at
615 N. Flint Street, Kaysville, Utah.
