Steve DeMar Martin

Steve DeMar Martin, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025, in Ogden, Utah, at the age of 66. Born on May 7, 1958, in Logan, Utah, Steve lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication.

In 2002, Steve married the love of his life, Tamara, and together they built a beautiful family, raising two children as their own and adding three more to their circle. His greatest joy was becoming a grandpa, a role he cherished dearly. Steve's family was his world, and he embraced every moment with them, imparting wisdom, love, and his trademark wit.

Steve dedicated many years to his work, starting at the VA hospital as a travel clerk and later enjoying a long career with Utah Foods, a catering company where his presence is still fondly remembered. His colleagues appreciated his hard work and the humor he brought to the workplace.

Known for his smart-ass demeanor, Steve had a unique way of loving hard and giving his all in everything he did. His sense of humor and ability to bring joy to those around him will be missed by all who knew him.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Tamara, his children Colby, Christopher, Joshua, Brandon, Brittany, Grandson Kyson and Granddaughter Kyiah his parents Gayle and DeMar. He also leaves behind his siblings Vicky, Terry, Thad, Brett, Cory, along with many other family members and friends who were touched by his kindness and spirit.

A celebration of Steve's life will be held on April 12th from 2-5 pm at 475 West Pleasant View Drive, Ogden, UT 84414. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of a man who made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Steve's legacy of love, humor, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those he left behind. May we all carry forward the lessons he taught us and remember him with the warmth and laughter he brought to our lives.
