Steven LeRoy Carroll

Steve lost his battle with cancer February 27, 2010 with his loving wife, family and friends by his side. Steve was born May 18, 1953 to Dolores Buckway and LeRoy Carroll in Ogden.

He attended Ogden schools and graduated from Box Elder High. He excelled in sports and was a great athlete. He had many jobs-working in the oil field, pouring cement, a junk yard, a towing business and car lot. He could do most anything!

His favorite activities included- karate, hiking, camping, hunting, and loved fishing. He played drums in a band, and best of all he loved derby's! He loved to travel and driving around looking for cars (mostly derby cars). He was the best at the sport and helped everyone. Everyone knew and cheered for #6- Steve Carroll! He was a friend to all and would give up the shirt on his back or the last dollar in his pocket.

He was a member of the LDS church and was sealed to his eternal companion Debbie and so Trevor in the Nauvoo Temple in June 2007. He loved his family and was so proud of his kids and their accomplishments. He enjoyed life and lived it of the fullest. He was the toughest, nice guy! He has many family and friends who look up to him

He wanted to say if he hurt anyone's feelings, he is sorry! And thanks for all the prayers and support.

Steve is survived by his living wife Debbie and their son Trevor and children: Steven, Stefanie (Wes), Brandon (Felicia), Brooke (Steve), fourteen grandchildren his mom Delores, siblings; Kathy, Pam (Gary), Cheree, Tommy (Susie), Maurice, Julie (Rich)k, Diana (Randy), many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins, grandma Colby and many in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his son Jaim, Stepfather Joe Davis and grandparents.

Steve we will always love you!

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Clearfield 2nd Ward LDS Church, 1245 S. 1175 E. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 4th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church and one prior to the service.

Interment will be at Clearfield City Cemetery.
