Steven Grover Pace

OGDEN-Steve passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 18, 2008. He was born March 16, 1961 in Ogden to Melvin and Lydia Sophia Berg Pace. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1979 where he excelled in sports.

Steve was passionate about golf and made many lifelong friends along the way. He was an avid sports fan with a competitive spirit. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed telling jokes. Reading and learning were also his passions and he was looking forward to furthering his education. He was very giving and had a big heart for the down and out. Steve loved children, especially his nieces and nephews.

Steve leaves behind the love of his life Kathy Richins, and his cats Bud, Zippy and Zoe. He also leaves his mother and stepfather Lydia and Ron Marriott, his brother Mike (Lesa) Pace and their four children, and his sister Jodie (Mark) McArthur and their three children. He leaves a son, Zach and many family members as well as friends who loved and cared about him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Pace, grandparents Jim and Dodie Baird, Grover and Mabel Pace, Uncle Hank and Aunt Nita.

Steve longed for peace from the struggles of addiction which tormented him. Those who love him know he has finally found that peace.

Cremation is under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory, 1600 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT.
