OGDEN-Steven Vincent Rubino, age 62, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012, surrounded by family. He was born July 19, 1949 in Salzburg, Austria, son of Phillip and Elisabeth Rubino. He attended Ben Lomond High School graduating in 1968. He was an outstanding athlete, excelling in football, and a member of Ben Lomond State football Championship Team. He also loved and played baseball, and in later years became an umpire for Ogden City and High School leagues. In 1976 he met the love of his life Robin Agricola, they married in Elko, Nev. in February 1977, they had two children Brandy and Tyler. He was a lifetime cement finisher , owning his own business, when he wasn't working he loved hunting, fishing and his dogs! Steve is survived by his wife Robin who in 1979 was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Steve became her major caretaker, as her disease progressed, his children Brandy and Tyler and parents Phillip and Lisa Rubino, sister Gloria (Craig) Favero, brother Marc (Tammy) Rubino, sister-in-law Norma Theall, Ranae Agricola, brother-in-law Russell Agricola. Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Britney (Jim) Stetter, Ben Tribe, Michael (Rachel) Tribe, Katie Favero, Baylie Favero, McKenzie Favero, Brock Rubino, Nathan Rubino, Tony Rubino. At Steve's request he will be cremated, and at a later time the family will have a private gathering to honor Steve. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help offset expenses to the account of Robin Rubino.
