Steven Glenn Wignall, 59, passed away at Ogden Regional Hospital at 12:53 am on Saturday, October 26, 2013. Steve had struggled with diabetes and heart failure during the last portion of his life. He is loved and will be missed by many. Steve was born on September 12, 1954 to Beverly Pullan and Glenn Wignall in Salt Lake City, Utah. Steve graduated from Clearfield High School in 1973. He married Sharolyn Shelley on June 17, 1977 in the Salt Lake City Temple. He worked at First Security Bank but spent most of his career working at Hill AFB running a computer network. Steve loved to play golf and basketball. He loved taking his family to Disneyland and the Homestead for vacations. He enjoyed supporting his children at games and performances. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to restaurants. He also enjoyed talking to his sister for long hours on the phone. We will miss his advice, fun sense of humor, jokes and funny stories. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and survived by his wife, Sharolyn; sister, Debbie Preece; daughter, Jami Smith (Dason Smith); son, Justin Wignall; and 4 granddaughters, Reygan, Kasidy, Alexis and Skylee. We would like to thank the staff at Rocky Mountain Home Care and the West Point 4th Ward for their love and support. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 11 am at the West Point 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 2800 W 300 N, West Point. A friend and family gathering will be held from 10 to 10:45 prior to service at the church. Interment West Point Cemetery.
