Sue J McDowell
March 31st, 1947 – April 5th, 2022
Sue J McDowell passed away with her family by her side on April 5th and heaven received a very special angel on that day.
My Beloved Wife of 56 wonderful years, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend to many who knew her.
She truly loved the Beauty of the Mountains. She looked forward to taking a ride to see all the beautiful fall leaves the Pines and Aspen Trees. She enjoyed her road trips to the California coast, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Arizona, and driving through Yellowstone Park. But most of all she enjoyed going to Jackson Hole each year. She enjoyed going to Idaho for lottery tickets and hoped they would hit the big one and always said she would share with everybody in her life.
At springtime she would get ready for the Hummingbirds to come and sure enough they would appear at her window each year. She loved those hummingbird’s and they loved her.
She always made her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren feel very special the moment she entered the room, she would make you feel like you were her favorite! She would listen and give you guidance and you would always leave with a smile. We all loved her company and everybody that knew her felt the love she had for each of them. Dad really loved being with her everyday no matter what they did. She loved and enjoyed her family and will be greatly missed. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
She married the love of her life “Mike” April 8, 1966, and later had 3 children. Surviving is her Husband Mike. Children: Tammy (Cory) Price, Mikie Jr McDowell, Tonya (Ron) Elliott. Grandkids: Justin (Jamie) Price, Ashton (Derick) Dayton, Alissa (Joel) Hammond, MaKayla (Mason) Bowcut. Great Grandkids: Ryder, Kynslie Sue, Jayce, Randyn, Braxton, Sadey Sue, Hadlee Sue.
