Susan Lynne Daley

Susan (Susie) Lynne Daley passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at her home in Roy, UT. She was born February 1, 1960 to Noreen Peart and James Eldridge in Ogden, UT at St. Benedict’s hospital.

She graduated from Roy High School in 1978. She married her sweetheart, Brett Daley, on June 4, 1978 at the First Presbyterian Church in Ogden, UT. Susie was strong in her faith of Jesus Christ and that has continued to bring comfort to her family during this difficult time.

Brett and Susie had three beautiful children:  Brandi, Jeremy, and Jamie. She also had two grandsons and five granddaughters, with a grandson on the way. She lived for those grandchildren and absolutely loved having them in her home and spoiling them. She did a great Donald Duck impression, which the grandkids couldn’t get enough of.

 She was a dedicated dental assistant for over 15 years, which she loved; she then worked at the IRS in Ogden for 11 years. She loved to be camping up at the family’s property in Wyoming. Her dogs Ivory and Jax were her constant companions and she loved them very much.

Susie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Brett Daley of Roy; daughter, Brandi (Brian) of Roy; son, Jeremy (Lynsie) of Syracuse; daughter, Jamie (Justin) of Roy.  She is also survived by her mother, Noreen (Arnie) of Farr West; brother, Scott (Rhea) of Clearfield; brother, Robert (Angie) of Vancouver, WA;  sister,  Laura (Casey) of Ogden; and her grandchildren: Gage, Benjamin, Gracie, Bella, Bree, Hadleigh, and Kynslie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Eldridge; her stepmother, Joyce Eldridge; and a grandson, Jacob Daley. 

A viewing will be held Thursday evening, December 13, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, UT.

She was very, very beautiful and loved, and will be very much missed.
