Sylviana Paula Hernandez-Mata

Our angel, Sylviana Mata, was called home to our heavenly father on March 30, 2023. She was born and raised in Ogden, Utah.

Sylviana was known for having a big heart that radiated kindness and compassion.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, family BBQs on the weekends, and spending quality time with the people she loved.  To know Sylviana, the personality she had was very bubbly and caring.

She met her one and only true love Joseph Mata in 2012 and they later married March 11, 2018, and had two beautiful children she loved dearly, Annjeleeah and Christian Mata.

Sylviana is survived by her siblings Gabriel (Des) and Jennifer Flores, her in laws Brenda and Paul Mata, her sister in laws Annjelica and Nellie Mata, her brother in laws Johnny Lucero, Paul Jr, Daniel, and Manuel Mata, Ciria and Richard Mora, Kelsey Hubbardd, Blessing Balli, and TyTy Pedraza and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved, including her emotional support LOCO.

She is preceded in death by her mother Josie Flores, her grandmother Sylvia Hererra, and many of the Herrera family members.

A viewing will be held April 12, 2023, from 6pm-8pm at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24^th St, Ogden, Utah

Funeral services will be April 13, 2023, at 11am at Aaron’s Mortuary. Following will be a dinner at Comfort Suites, 2250 S 1200 W. Ogden, Utah 84401.
