Tammy Lorene Floyd

Tammy Lorene Floyd (52) passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 2, 2018.

Tammy was born May 29, 1965 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Edward Eugene and Linda Elaine Floyd.  She spent her childhood living in many different areas due to her father’s military service; eventually settling down in Utah where she has lived the past 37 years.  She graduated from Layton High School in 1983.  She also graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Stevens-Henager College.  She used this degree in her careers at Marker, Wee Care Pediatrics and Home Depot.

She loved reading books, spending time outdoors and being with her family.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She served faithfully in all her church callings.  She especially loved her time spent in Cub Scouts and Young Women’s.

She was proceeded in death by: Father – Edward Floyd, Brother – Jason Floyd and Grandmother – Elaine Lindsay. 

She is survived by: Mother – Linda Floyd, Siblings – Richard (Shawn) Floyd, Bruce (Angela) Floyd, Children – Cameron (Jana) John, Elliot (Kandri) John, Ravyn Smith, many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and several cherished friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11 am at the Layton West Stake Center, 1715 West 1600 North, Layton, Utah 84041.  Viewings will be held Friday evening, February 9, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 1050 S State Street, Clearfield, Utah 84015 and prior to service on Saturday from 10 to 10:45 at the church.
