Taven Bent Speranza was born on a cool February morning in 1997 to Danielle George and Anthony Speranza.
Taven was bright, caring and passionate. He had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and a fun-loving personality. His compassionate love for animals was touching and admirable. Through his life he enjoyed many adventurous hobbies including deep-sea fishing, hiking, traveling and spending time at the cabin with his grandma Corliss and grandpa Oscar. He cherished the summers he spent with his grandpa Jerry and the many afternoons spent watching science documentaries with his grandpa Bent. Family was very important to Taven. He was a loving, proud uncle whom his niece (Emberlynn) and nephews (Kade, Hudson, Ezra) adored. Taven had a vivacious love for science and a vivid writing voice. He spoke often of his dream to become a geneticist and to eventually write novels and comic books. He was spunky and smart; a practical joker who left a lasting impression on every one who knew him.
Our Speranza man has gone on a new adventure; where he will know the answers to the questions he couldn't find here and where his big heart won't be hurting anymore. Left behind are the broken hearts of those who loved him and the memories of a spunky, fun and irreplaceable son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and dear friend. We love you Taven.
Taven was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Speranza. He is survived by his mother, Danielle George; his sisters, Jessica Linford (Ian), Emily Hill (Jordan), Kayla George (Alex), Monica Steen; brothers, Cameron George, Bracn George; grandparents Lana Olsen (Bent), Jerry Speranza (Rosemary), Corliss Neuber (Oscar), Jeri Copps, Blanche Bingham; Andrea Speranza (Donnie), Tony Olsen (Heidi), Troy Olsen (Susan), Cheri Quigley, Zack Martin, Darlene Meyerhoffer, John Jaarveth, Christopher George, Steven Linford and many beloved cousins, family and friends.
A celebration of Taven's life will be held on September 12th, 2015 from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Olsen residence in Riverdale, Utah. Please wear bright colors or tie-dye in his honor. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a memorial fund established at Golden West Credit Union Account #2946434
