Taylor York Zwemke

April 21, 1989 — February 22, 2024

Taylor York Zwemke was born in Ogden, Utah on April 21, 1989. Taylor, only 34 years old, passed away unexpectedly February 22, 2024. The moon was nearly full and bright, providing a gentle light that would guide him onward to a place where he will be with his mother again.

Taylor was handsome, witty, a lover of animals, music, art, and a very talented guitar player. As a young child, Taylor was inquisitive and always seeking adventure. In highschool, he played golf with the Ogden High golf team and carried a love for the sport into his adulthood. He enjoyed hiking and maintaining his athleticism through exercise. He shared a love with his Dad for trees, mountains, and mountain biking. Although an enthusiast for the outdoors, nothing would make him scream like a child more than spiders and snakes. He truly wanted happiness, success, and to love and to be loved.

Taylor battled the loss of his mother at a young age, and although he had his tribulations in life, he tried his best to maintain a positive outlook even when his issues bested him. He kept on fighting the good fight and never quit. Those who knew Taylor felt loved by him through his playful and sarcastic jokes. His heart was so big he often didn’t know what to do with it.

Taylor will be missed forever by his friends and family - his father, Matt Zwemke; his aunt, RuthAnn McCullam; and his siblings, Kennedy, Hanna, Aspen, and Canyon.

Please join us Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11 a.m. for an opportunity to celebrate the life of Taylor with family and friends. This gathering will be held at the church located on 1643 26th Street in Ogden.
