Thomas Howard Reynolds 09/23/1930 - 05/26/2010.
OGDEN-Tom passed away peacefully at his home May 26, 2010 after a long battle with multiple chronic health problems. Tom was born to Edna Bequette and John Reynolds in St. Louis Missouri on September 23, 1930.
Tom lived throughout the United States due to his career with the Union Pacific Railroad. After retirement, he settled in Ogden, Utah. He was a member of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife Mary Eaton Reynolds of 53 years; his sons, Tom Reynolds (Cecilia) and John Reynolds; his daughter, Evelyn Geilmann (Nolan) and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, three brother and his parents.
His gentle presence, warm smile and sense of humor will greatly be missed. He loved to be with family, play cards, fish, camp and travel. He will be remembered for his random acts of kindness for others.
Our family is so thankful to Alpine Hospice, especially Robert, Amy and Dr. Reis for taking such good care of Tom. They made it possible for him to be at home where he was happiest. Their kindness, compassion and outstanding care will never be forgotten.
A gathering in Tom's honor will be held at the family's home, 954 N Quincy, Ogden, Utah, on Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 11am to 1 pm.
