Ute Morgan of Syracuse, Utah, passed away at home in the early morning of January 8, 2015.

Ute was born in Bitburg, Germany, and was the wife of retired United States Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Gene Morgan.

She is survived by her husband of over 50 years; two daughters and their husbands, Daphne and Terence Taylor of Layton, Utah, and Tina and Doug Loggins of Waynesville, Missouri; son, Lieutenant Colonel Eric Morgan and his wife, Danielle, of Dayton, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Dustin Loggins, Dominique Taylor, Shayna Taylor, Morgan Loggins, Max Morgan, and Jackson Morgan.   She is also survived by brother, Burkhard Holzer of Bitburg, Germany.

A private memorial service will be held at the Morgan residence.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in Ute’s name are appreciated.
