Val Lorin Adams

Val Lorin Adams Our sweet husband, dad, grandpa, and friend, Val Lorin Adams, passed away July 3, 2013 of cancer. Val was born to O'Keath & Hattie Harris Watt Adams on August 23, 1940 in Ogden, Utah. Val was the youngest of seven kids. Val married Kathleen (Kathie) Elaine Cuthbert Adams in Bountiful, Utah on November 7, 1970. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Bountiful LDS Temple on November 11, 2011. Val attended school in Davis County. Val served in the Navy from 1957-1961. After returning from the Navy, Val worked for Hammond Cabinets, Davis County Glass, and retired from Hill AFB. While working at Hill AFB Val worked in trainers and PMEL. After Val retired from Hill AFB he went back to working for the contractors in PMEL. Val is survived by his wife, Kathleen Elaine Cuthbert Adams; son, Matthew Lorin Adams (Emily), son, George Bradley Adams. Grandkids, Meadow, Lilly, Anthony, Issac, AJ, Indi, and Sara; Brothers, Von (Joann) Adams, Evan (Jan) Adams; Brother-in-law, LeRoy Bowers, Harold (Marco) Orton; and special extended Beck, Turner, and Adams families. Val was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dean (Marge) Adams; sisters, Itha (Bill) Hodson, Fern Orton, LeRee Bowers. Reflection Time with family will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM and a Memorial Service will be held at Noon at the Mtn. Green Chapel, 4150 W Old Hwy Road, Mtn. Green, Utah. A special thank you to Dr. Harold Johnson and the infusion nurses; and to Shawnee, Bryce, Michelle, and Kena with Advocate Hospice. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Val's name to the American Cancer Society or The Huntsman Cancer Institute.
