Valerie Jean Atkinson was a loving wife and mother. She loved instantly and deeply. She was a friend to everyone she has ever met. She had a giving soul and a light in her eyes that affected everyone.
Valerie was born to John Bren and Millie Hunt in Buffalo, NY.
Valerie was preceded in death by her father, John Bren and by her grandparents.
She is survived by her mothers, Millie Hunt and Ritty Van Soelen; her husband, Travis Atkinson; her children, Alondra and Kody; her brothers, Dennis, Tim, Chuck, Mike, and Peter; her sisters, Penny, Charlotte, Shawn, Gail, and Tina. Also her "adopted" daughters, Nicole and Chelsee;. her great niece, Lilly;. and her grandchildren, Trent, Hailey, and Zachary; and by many cousins, nieces and nephews..
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at McKay Dee hospital for the exceptional care she received.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 2 pm to 6 pm. at her home, 830 N Eccles Ave, Ogden, Utah.
