Velma Ann Payne, long time resident of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2015.
She was the daughter of John and Lucille Stiimpfling born on July 17, 1929 in Deer Trail, Colorado.
On April 15, 1953, she married Robert M. Payne. They had two children, Randall R. Payne and Kathryn Ann Payne.
She retired from the Bank of Utah.
Velma enjoyed cooking, baking, and caregiving.
She was well-known. Her most passionate person of her life is Merinda Dawn Payne.
Velma loved everyone in her life.
She is survived son, Randall R. Payne; daughter, Kathryn Ann Payne; three grandkids, Shane T. Payne (Carma) , Travis Payne (Corina), granddaughter, Merinda Payne; three great-grandkids, Hailey, Kade and Tristen; one brother, Bob Stimpfling (Jean).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Payne; one brother and one sister; one grandson, Cody Eugene Payne.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11 am at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the graveside service from 10 to 1045 am at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah
