Violet L Edwards

On Monday, July 1, 2019, Violet L. Edwards, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, peacefully passed away in her home from her battle with stage 4 lung cancer.

Violet was born on December 31, 1953 to Jerry and Mary Ricketts in Ogden, Utah.  In January of 1970 was the time she married the love of her life, Phil Edwards.  She loved to play puzzle games, Mario games on old school Nintendo, any kind of card games, liked to draw, crochet, sew comforters and blankets, she had a love for dogs, and her favorite animal was tigers.

 She loved to go bowling with her husband and family friends on bowling leagues., She loved to have long conversations with anybody about anything on the phone or in person, she loved and enjoyed her time and company with her grandchildren and great grandchildren they always put a smile on her face and filled her heart with happiness and love, they were her world.  She loved listening to music, it didn’t matter if it was upbeat or oldies she would dance to it, she loved to watch her T.V shows with her husband.               

Violet is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Mary Ricketts; her brother, Jake Ricketts. She is survived by her husband, Phil Edwards; her children, David Edwards, Daniel(Megan) Edwards;  grandchildren: Brody(Alexis) Edwards, Savanah Kristofferson, Samantha Edwards, Lindsay Edwards;  and great grandchildren,  Ava Edwards and Oliver Edwards.

A viewing will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 from 9:00 to 9:45 am at Aaron's Mortuary, 1050 S Sate Street, Clearfield, UT followed by a Graveside Service at 10 am at the West Point  Cemetery,  80 N. 4000 W, West Point, UT...
