Virginia Lee Liptrap

Virginia Lee Liptrap returned to her Heavenly Father on September 19, 2012 due to complications of diabetes.

She was born on May 5, 1931 to Bernard and Fannie Patterson Broadus in Coffeyville, KS. She married William K. Liptrap, Sr. on April 26, 1947. They had 50 years together and eight children. She worked all her life, working mostly in home care. She always enjoyed going to church until she became too ill. She was a member of Christian Worship Center.

She is survived by her eight children, Sherry Swift of Riverdale, Utah; Marguerite (Ron) Howell of Uintah, Utah; Bud (Kathy) Liptrap of Buhl, ID; Bobby Liptrap of Ogden, Utah; Larry (Susan) Liptrap of Roy, Utah; Roxanne (Bill) Leavitt of Virginia Beach, VA; Rose Henderson of South Ogden, UT; Ronnie Liptrap of Ogden, UT; 31 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four grandsons, one granddaughter, one great-great-grandson, one sister, one brother and her parents. We want to thank abundant hospice, especially Becky for the care she gave our mother.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 11 am at Aaron's Mortuary. 496 24th Street. Friends may visit with family Monday from 6 to 8 pm and Tuesday, from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to the service at the mortuary.
