Wayne Charles Carlin

Wayne left us peacefully May 31, 2011 in the comfort of loving arms. He was born February 26, 1950 to John and Irene Thornock Carlin. He married Ronda Taylor on May 7, 1971; on that day two hearts became one. His amazing kind, gentle, soft-spoken way will be missed by all.

He served in the Army and was a Vietnam and Korea Veteran and received a purple heart. He retired from Hill AFB after 33 years.

Wayne was an amazing husband, dad, son, brother, uncle and friend. Grumpy loved the times with his children and grandchildren, family and friends and helping others. Spending time in Yost was his solitude for getting away and hunting. He is in the Utah Big Game RecordBbook for his Elk.

He is survived by his wife, Ronda, and his amazing children, Stacie (Casey) Kelly, Blake (Kayse) Carlin, Charlee Carlin; 5 grandchildren, Matt, Aydreyn, Trae, Brea, Ally; 3 great-grandchildren, Adin, Jaxton and Kaylie; his parents, John and Irene Carlin; siblings, Dianne (Dee) Coles, Richard Carlin, Janette Nichols, Barbara (Al) Shillin, Brent (Vicki) Carlin, Guy Carlin, Douglas Carlin, and Keith Carlin.

He is preceded in death by a brother, John Carlin, Jr.; sisters, Laureen Carlin and Michelle Brechbill. Wayne is already home where "Love Never Ends" therefore, at Wayne's request there will be no services.
