Wayne A Marriott Jr

Wayne A. Marriott, Jr., 73, passed away peacefully July 16, 2016 after an extended illness.

He was born December 28, 1942 in Ogden, the son of Wayne A. and Deon N. Marriott and a lifelong resident of Weber County.  He worked in the kitchen at St Benedicts and Ogden Regional Hospitals for over 30 years until he retired in 2005.  He also worked at Enable Industries.  He attended Elim Lutheran Church.

Wayne enjoyed family gatherings, phone calls from his sister, friends, going to church, fishing and trips to Wendover.

Wayne was a kind-hearted gentle soul, always trying to help others.  He was a friend to all and loved by all who knew him.  He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.  

He is survived by his sister, Sharon Neely of Greenwood, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.

His family would like to thank the staff and his friends at StoneyBook of Roy for their care and support.  Also thanks to Inspiration Hospice.

No formal services will be held.

Interment at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch under the direction of Aaron’s Mortuary of Ogden.
