Wayne L Mulligan

Wayne L. Mulligan, age 89, of Syracuse Utah, passed away at home on August 29, 2022.  He was born on August 21, 1933, in Santa Maria, California to John and Alice Mulligan.

Wayne grew up in Chula Vista, California.  He joined the Air Force in 1953 and spent 22 years in aircraft maintenance.  Wayne married LaRae Gunn in September of 1956.  They moved around with the Air Force living in Utah, Hawaii, Georgia, Colorado, and California.  He spent two 12-month tours of duty in Vietnam and retired in 1975, at Beale Air Force Base, California.  After retiring from the Air Force, Wayne went to work selling campers for Parris Valley Campers in Yuba, City, California.  He soon after started working for Civil Service in Sacramento, California at Mather Air Force Base and retired in Utah from Hill Air Force Base Civil Service after working 21 years in aircraft maintenance.

Wayne is survived by his sister Terry Mulligan (San Bernardino, California), his former spouse, LaRae and two sons, Ron (Syracuse, Utah), Jeff (Layton, Utah) and his greatest joy, grandchild Shaylin (Seth) LeCheminant.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Mike, Andy, and Gene.

A private family celebration of life will be held.
