Wendy Chase

October 22, 1963 — August 13, 2015

Wendy Weaver Chase, Oct 22 1963- Aug 13 2015.
Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Wendy (Tawanda) Chase, passed away August 13th 2015. She is celebrating with her parents, brothers, and puppies. Wendy was born on October 22nd, 1963 to the late Mark Jackson Weaver and Karen Marie Shaw Weaver Kartchner. She was raised in Layton, Utah, and attended Layton High School.
On June 25th 1992, she married the love of her life and best friend Barry Chase in North Fork, Utah. Wendy was very industrious, hardworking, and shined at Hill Air Force Base where she worked. She owned and operated Mountain Styles Salon in Eden, Utah.
Wendy lived to snowmobile, camp, fish and go for rides on the ATVs. She loved to be outdoors, or decorating and being crafty. She loved the leaves from the trees in autumn, tending to her beautiful gardens and feeding the multitude of hummingbirds that surrounded her home. She didn't care much for idle time so she was always up for a good time with her many friends and family.
Wendy was a friend to all, whether it is a friend, hitch-hiker, or anyone in need. She was very loving and generous. She was a practical joker, a prankster, and loved a good debate. She enjoyed entertaining friends and family and made sure everyone were always having a great time.
She is survived by her beloved husband Barry Sadler Chase in Liberty, brother Tracy Mark Weaver in West Haven, four children Brock Chase, Shannon Chase Verhaal (Joe), Andrea "Sunshine" Chase and Cory Paul Chase. Five grandchildren, Hannah, Rayna, Benjamin, David and Samuel. Father and Mother in Law Val And Myrna Chase in North Ogden, Step father Nolan J Kartchner, Brothers in Law Brad Chase (Dianna) in Clinton, and Cory Chase (Sharon) in Pleasant View. Special Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, especially Uncle Cracker, step brother and sisters, and Diesel and Hank (her two furry boys).
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Barry Tab Weaver and Corey Chris Weaver.
A special thank you to Weber County Sheriff Department. Patsy Dickens for the use of her beautiful grounds and the overwhelming love and support from our hundreds of friends and family.
A Memorial service for Wendy will be held Thursday evening from 5 - 8:30 P.M. at Kelley Clark Farms, 465 N 9000 E, Huntsville, Utah. Just off highway 39.
