Wilbur Joe Arnold

Wilbur Joe Arnold passed away at his home in Clearfield January 13, 2017.  He was born November 16, 1949 to Wilbur and Donna Hoaglund Arnold in Grand Junction, Colorado.

He married Margaret Matkin Arnold; they later divorced.   He later married Deborah Poch Arnold. 

Joe entered the Army as a private and  finished tours with many medals and awards as a staff sargent.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.  He was a great father, son and grandpa.

He is survived by daughters,  Shawna (Chris) of Utah and Tammy (Paul) of Idaho; step-son, Greg Chavez (Sarah) of Nevada; twelve grandchildren: Chelsey(Mitch), Joey, Christopher, Sheldon, Dj, ShayLee, Angel, Alex, Brinton, James, & Gauge and two great-grandchildren Mason, & Camden; numerous nieces & nephews.

He is also survived by Sister, Kathy(Gary) of Colorado;brothers, Arlen (Rhonda) of Arizona;, Daniel of Colorado & a half- sister, Cheri(Pete) of Oklahoma..

 He is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah; mom, Donna; dad, Wilbur and granddaughter, Shelbee Louise Fritz..

Graveside Services will be held Friday,  January 20, 2017 at 11 am at Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 S State Street, Clearfield, Utah 84015.  A luncheon will follow at 245 N 1000 W, Clearfield, Utah. (Parking available at the LDS Church.)  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, request donations be made to MS or Cancer Society.
