William E Higley

March 15, 1940 — July 15, 2014

Bill Higley passed away Tues.  July 15, 2014 after a short battle with liver cancer.  He was born March 15, 1940 to Ervin and Ada Higley in Ogden, UT.

He graduated from Weber High and Weber State University with a Bachelors degree in theater arts.  He served an LDS mission to France.

Bill taught drama at Weber High School and loved his students and making films.

He earned the Karen J. Aston award for his storytelling and performing.  He was also an accomplished writer.

He spent many hours reading and performing at the Weber County Library and had many great friends there.

He loved being with his family.  He is survived by two sisters Catherine (Bill) Beatty, California, Barbara Larkin, Ogden and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Harvey Higley.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Weber County Library, his many friends at Three Link Tower, the staff at Crestwood Care Center and Hospice.

There will be a celebration of Bill's life at Three Link Tower Sat July 19, 2014 from 11am-1pm
