After his discharge from the service, they moved to Arkansas for a short time. Following their return to Utah, they made their home in Farr West where they raised their five children.
Bill retired from Westinghouse Electric in 1991 after twenty-eight years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, gardening, playing guitar, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a Southern Baptist.
