Dr. William McVaugh died peacefully on July 20, 2010. Bill taught for 27 years in the Psychology Dept. at Weber State Univ. where he was beloved by his students. He loved the desert of his native Arizona and the mountains of Utah where he rock-climbed. He is survived by his wife, Jane; his son, Nate; his daughters, Lisa, Becky and Tasha; his two grandchildren, and his loyal dog ,Chaco. Bill's wit, intelligence and enthusiasm have been missed, and will continue to be missed. He encouraged both his children and his students to love and respect nature, to seek knowledge, and to keep the faith. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 25 at 9:30 am at the Huntsville Cemetery, with a wake to be held the same day from 4:00-6:00 pm at the McVaugh residence.

Cremation is under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary and Crematory of Ogden.
