Winfield Brady Hill September 20th, 1935 – June 20th, 2014 On Friday, June 20th Winfield was reunited with his parents Jefferson Brady Hill and Leah Terelta Hill, his sister Neta Shirlene Moe and his grandparents. He was born September 20th, 1935 in Buhl, Idaho. He served his country in the Navy under the Naval Construction Force, the SEABEES, for four years. On May 15th 1959 he married the eternal love of his life Dian Claire Caldwell. Even after 55 years of marriage, family members will tell you that no two people have ever loved each other more than Win and Dian. Winfield provided for his family as a truck driver for 40 years. He loved being on the open road, traveling across the country in his truck or on his Harley with his beautiful wife. He could tell you all the best routes to your destination and all the good sites and restaurants along the way. Winfield loved working with his hands. He intricately built and air-brushed many model cars, trucks and tow trucks. Two of which were on display and won prizes at Ogden’s Union Station. He also had a love for wood working and he was always willing to teach what he knew. When a grandkid cut a corner wrong, he would say “That’s what wood putty is for, it builds character.” He was full of life lessons that I’m sure his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will only continue to realize as time goes on. Winfield is survived by his wife Dian Claire Hill, his brothers Robert P Hill and Richard R Hill, His son Terry Allen Hill, daughters Corinna L Erickson and Denyse Perry and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered by his strength, wisdom, love and humor. “He has been our rock over all these many years, to which we are most grateful.”
