Yvonne Eileen Evans Atkinson Hayward

Yvonne Eileen Evans Atkinson Hayward, aged 70 years, was called home by our Heavenly Father due to chronic illness resulting in a fall at home which ultimately carried her to our home beyond the veil on February 18, 2025. Eileen, as she preferred to be called, was born to Ava Hopkins Evans and Marvin Paul Evans on December 17, 1954. She graced this world with determination and a flare for the wild adventures of life complemented by the comedic wicked wit and sense of humor she possessed her entire life. Most of all, Eileen valued loyalty and honor in those closest to her, and she strove endlessly to demonstrate her strong beliefs with those she loved.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Ava and Marvin; her youngest son, Jason Paul Atkinson; and second husband, Larry C. Hayward. She is survived by her only sibling, her brother, Paul Evans; sister-in-law, Vivian Evans; her eldest son, Jeremy J. Atkinson; daughter-in-law, Sandra J Atkinson; grandson, Leeum Carmichael Atkinson, aged 12; as well as her first husband, Ted J Atkinson.

Memorial Services will be held Friday March 14, 2025, at Aaron's Mortuary & Crematorium located at 496 24th Street, Ogden UT 84401 from 6 - 8 pm MST, with a memorial program held from 7 - 8 pm.

Known by most in her life as a very loving, caring mother, sister, wife, and friend, Eileen had a sense of humor that will remain larger than life and a significant part of her joy and zest for life and love of family and friends. She loved a good prank; she was adventurous, loved a challenge, and spent many days camping and traveling the US, living in Alaska for a time, and camping in WA State on the day Mt. St. Helens erupted. She spent time in Idaho as well, ultimately settling in Ogden, UT for the past 30+ years. We celebrate and remember the many wonderful years and memories we have with Eileen and collectively send this message out into the Heavens to her: Eileen, we love and miss you always.
